Around 2,661 examination centers were prepared to conduct the examination of lakhs of students in the state itself.
The state had recorded passing percentage in intermediate second year board exam 2013 as 88.10% and the total examinees were 8, 53,355. 
This year around 19 Lakh students appeared for both AP Intermediate Exams 2014 hence the result also came close with not much gap. The percentage of pass marks in each paper is 35. The division in which the candidates are placed is decided on the basis of their passing all the papers in the 1st year and in the 2nd year.
The annual examination was conducted for the academic session 201314 in(March/April) and the Advanced Supplementary Examination will be conducted in June/July 2014.
