Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli has married his wife Andreah in presence of his son


Former Indian cricketer Vinod Kambli has married his wife Andreah in presence of his son Jesus. Regarded as one of the best left hand batsmen that India has ever produced, Kambli has seen many ups and down in his career and was thrown out of team due to his indiscipline. Kambli tried his hands in business and modelling and he was in news couple of months back as he was hospitalized due to heart attack. Now, Kambli has consummated his legal marriage with religious touch. Wedding was held at St.Peter's church in Bandra, Mumbai. Kambli and Andreah Hewitt were in a relation for some time now and the couple got married earlier at a registrar office. Kambli expressed his happiness after the marriage and promised to be a good husband and father.

Vinod Ganpat Kambli (born 18 January 1972, Bombay, Maharashtra, India) is a former Indian cricketer, who played for India as a middle order batsman, as well as for Mumbai and Boland, South Africa.He is a childhood friend of the Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar.Currently he appears as a cricket expert and commentator on various television channels. He has also appeared on various reality shows.

Kambli hails from Indira Nagar, Kanjurmarg, a suburb of Mumbai.The small patch of land that served as his first cricket pitch was surrounded on all sides by high-rise buildings.The scoring system was dictated by the lack of space, and the higher a batsman hit the ball into the buildings the more runs he scored. It explains why Kambli was one of the best over-the-top hitters of spin bowling.

He shared an unbroken partnership of 664 runs in a school match against St. Xavier's School, Fort, with Sachin Tendulkar.Kambli contributed 349 runs before their coach Acharekar forced the pair to declare; he then took 6 wickets for 37 in St. Xavier's first innings.Kambli, who started his Ranji trophy career with a six off the first ball he faced,soon followed Sachin in to the Indian team. Kambli made two double-centuries and two centuries in seven tests. He played his last Test match at the age of 24 and formally announced his retirement from first class cricket on 22 September 2011. He played his last ODI in the year 2000.

Records:Kambli holds the record of "quickest 1000 test runs" by an Indian. He took just 14 test innings to reach this feat.

Vinod Kambli married fashion Model Andrea Hewitt, the couple has a child born in June 2010.The boy's name is Jesus Christiano.

On 29 November 2013, Kambli was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital, following a heart attack on Friday.

Kambli was taken ill while he was driving from Chembur to Bandra and suddenly stopped the car. A policewoman on duty, Sujata Patil noticed he could not drive and arranged to rush him to Lilavati Hospital. Hospital sources say he is under observation and undergoing various tests to determine his health condition. Kambli had undergone angioplasty on two of his blocked arteries in July 2012s.

Vinod Kambli Joined Lok Bharati Party and was made vice-president of the party.In the 2009 Vidhan Sabha election, he Contested from Vikhroli, Mumbai as a Lok Bharati Party candidate. He lost the election.Though he continues to do social work. In 2011, He supported Anna Hazare's campaign India against Corruption.
