Arun Jaitley will head India’s finance, defence and corporate affairs ministries in the new administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a government statement said on Tuesday.
The portfolios followed expected lines, with party veteran Sushma Swaraj getting foreign ministry, while Rajnath Singh being appointed as home minister.
Modi, as expected, kept atomic energy and space for himself.
